Our Story

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO CARE?

To listen when it would be easier to look away?

To stand beside someone when they feel alone?

To make space for people to exist exactly as they are?

Care 2 began with something personal. An experience over Christmas made us realise just how quickly someone can feel unseen, unsupported or disconnected, even when surrounded by people.

It left us asking a simple question: Do people still care enough?

As queer women, it also made us think about the spaces available to our community and who often gets left out of them. We wanted to create something welcoming, grown-up and meaningful. Something that recognised that pride, identity and visibility don’t look the same for everyone.

Some people choose to signal who they are loudly and proudly. Others carry the substance of it more quietly. Neither is more valid than the other, and nobody should have to perform their identity to prove that it matters.

That idea became Care 2.

Not just clothing. Not just another logo. A community built around connection, representation and action. A space for the queer community, the allies who genuinely stand beside us and anyone who believes people deserve to feel seen, supported and accepted exactly as they are.

However you found Care 2, through our clothing, our community, our content or simply by chance, we hope you leave feeling seen.

We want to build Care 2 into something much bigger than a brand. A space where people connect, stories are shared and meaningful support is created. Something that belongs to the community and grows alongside it.

This began with our story, but we hope it becomes part of yours. As we grow, 10% of our net profits will go back to LGBTQIA+ causes supporting the communities at the heart of everything we do.

So, we’ll leave you with the question that started it all:

What does it mean to care and what does it mean to you?

Care more. Judge less. Love loudly.
